Shai Piron

Moshe Shai Piron (Hebrew שי פירון, born January 25, 1965 in Kfar Vitkin, Israel) is an Israeli rabbis, educators and politicians.

Life

Piron received his semicha as a rabbi and was co-head of Hesder Yeshiva in Petah Tikva. He is the CEO of Ha -Kol le- Chinuch (Hebrew הַכֹּל לחִנּוּךְ; lit " all for the education." ). He founded Amutat Zohar (Hebrew עֲמֻתָּת צֹהַר; well Tzohar organization) and has worked on many projects that attempt to reconcile differences between Orthodox and secular. Piron is a representative of the religious Zionism and party member of Yesh Atid. 2013 he was appointed Education Minister Gideon Sa'ar and replaced it.
