Shane Hnidy

Shane Michael Hnidy ( born November 8, 1975 in Neepawa, Manitoba ) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.85 m tall defender started his professional career with the Swift Current Broncos in the Canadian Junior Football League WHL and then moved in 1993 to the league rivals Prince Albert Raiders before being selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 as a 173 in the seventh round by the Buffalo Sabres been.

However, the right-handed shooter graduated never an NHL game for the Sabres, but played for various farm teams in minor leagues until he was transferred from the Detroit Red Wings, who had meanwhile signed him as a free agent, for a draft pick to the Ottawa Senators.
