Shaun Christopher Hill ( born January 9, 1980 in Parsons, Kansas) is an American professional American football player at the position of quarterback. He plays for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League ( NFL).
Previous years
Hill played during his time at the high school quarterback next two years as a Safety. His first two years at the College Hill played at Hutchinson Community College as a quarterback. Then he spent the last two years at the University of Maryland. 2002 Hill and his team played in the Orange Bowl and finished at the end of the season in tenth place all colleges.
Pro career
Hill signed up to the NFL Draft in 2002, but was selected by any team. Later he got from the Minnesota Vikings a contract as a rookie free agent. In 2003, Hill is in the NFL Europe to the Amsterdam Admirals from, so he got match practice. Hill played a year in Amsterdam and then went back to the Vikings.
As of the 2006 season, played Hill for the San Francisco 49ers, where he then his first game as a starting quarterback in the NFL made . 2007 Hill was in two of three games starting quarterback of the 49ers. In the next season, Hill got a lot more play and started in eight of nine games. Before the 2009 season, the new head coach of the 49ers had known that you would go as a starter in the season with Hill. He was not a good performance in time and was in six games starter, but was then replaced by Alex Smith.
In March 2010, the Lions announced Hill a two-year contract as a backup for quarterback Matthew Stafford to give.
