Shire of Ashburton

Ashburton is located on the west coast about 1000 km north of the capital, Perth. The seat of the Shire Council is situated in Tom Price in the east of the LGA, where about 2700 inhabitants.

Belongs to this community and the Barrow Iceland.

Management

The Ashburton Council has nine members ( three from the Tom Price Ward, two from the Paraburdoo Ward and one each from the Ashburton, Onslow, Pannawonica and Tableland Ward ) elected by the inhabitants of the six Wards. From the circle of Councillor also the President of the Council and President of the Shires recruited.
