Shire of Meekatharra

Meekatharra is located in the western half of the state about 650 km northeast of the capital, Perth. The seat of the Shire Council is located in the village of Meekatharra, where about 800 inhabitants.
Management
The Meekatharra Council has nine members. The Councillor will of the inhabitants of the three Wards ( five from the Town, two each from the Nannine and the Peak Hill Ward) selected. From the circle of Councillor also the President of the Council and Shire President recruited.
