Silke Pielen

Silke Pielen ( born August 29, 1955 in Nordhorn ) is a former German swimmer who competed for the Federal Republic of Germany. She won an Olympic bronze medal in 1972.

Silke Pielen launched until 1971 for Waspo Nordhorn and then moved to the DSV - school Max Ritter Saarbrücken. In 1974 she appeared for the swimming and sports friends Bonn 1905. The European Swimming Championship 1970 in Barcelona, she was eleventh on the 200 meters backstroke distance. 1971 and 1972 she won the German championship title on the 100 meters backstroke distance.
