Silpakorn University
The Silpakorn University ( Thai: มหาวิทยาลัย ศิลปากร, RTGS: Mahawitthayalai Sinlapakon, pronunciation: [ sǐnlápa ː kɔ ː n], English:. Silpakorn University, in short: SU, translates as " University of Fine Arts ") is a public university in Bangkok. The university was founded in 1943 on the initiative of the Italian- Thai artist Corrado Feroci, bearing the name Silpa Bhirasri as Thai citizens.
The Silpakorn University is the nation's leading university in the fields of archeology and the fine arts, even though to this day many other faculties have been added.
History
Mom Luang Pin Malakula founded in 1939 on the site of Tha - Pra - palace - the Pranete Silpakam school. Four years later, in the Second World War, it was Thailand's third state university.
In 1968, the University permission to offer additional courses. This led to the establishment of the campus in Nakhon Pathom, east of Highway 321.

- Taling Chan, Bangkok (Bureau, Faculty of Music, Graduate College, International College, Sanskrit Studies Centre )
- Sanam Chan Palace, Nakhon Pathom
- Phetchaburi IT Campus, Phetchaburi

In the QS World University Ranking 2013, Silpakorn University, took fifth place in history within Thailand.
