Silvia Weissteiner

Silvia Weissteiner ( born July 13, 1979 in Sterzing ) is an Italian middle distance runner.

So far, the South Tyrolean six times Italian Champion: 2005 and 2006 over 5000 meters outdoors and 3000 meters in the hall as well as in cross country in 2003 on the short - and 2006 on the long haul. In European Championships she came in Munich in 2002 over 5000 meters on the 13th and 2006 in Gothenburg in the 10,000 meters at the 14th place, and twice she won at the Mediterranean Games bronze 5000m: 2005 in Almería and 2009 in Pescara. 38 times she was called into the Italian national team.
