Simply Streisand is the title of an album by Barbra Streisand.

History

Simply Streisand is the ninth studio album by Barbra Streisand. The album was released almost simultaneously with their Christmas album A Christmas Album in the fall of 1967. It contains only songs from various Broadway musicals. In previous albums, although they had already released tunes from musicals, but this is changed in each case from jazz standards. A similar album of Simply Streisand should reappear until 1985 with The Broadway Album. The Musical Composer Richard Rodgers wrote a dedication for the cover of the album. Simply Streisand was indeed awarded a gold record, reached, however, the first album by Barbra Streisand not the Top Ten of the album charts in the United States. As the highest ranking of 12th place was noted.
