Sinuiju Special Administrative Region

The Special Administrative Region of Sinuiju in North Korea was established on 12 September 2002 by splitting off from the provincial P'yŏngan - pukto near the town of Sinuiju. It is bordered on the north by the People's Republic of China and to the south, east and west by the province of North P'yŏngan.

History

Economy
