Sirusho

Sirusho (Armenian Սիրուշո Siruscho, full name Armenian Սիրանուշ Հարությունյան Siranusch Harutyunyan, as Siranush Harutyunyan in engl transliteration, . Born January 7, 1987 in Yerevan, Armenia) is an Armenian pop singer. She completed her first appearance before an audience in Canada at the age of seven years. At age nine she won a prize for her song Lusabats. She learned to play piano and later studied diplomacy at the Yerevan State University. My major is International Relations. Sirusho is the daughter of the Armenian singer Susan Margaryan, her father is an actor and director. Their first album, entitled Sirusho was published in 1999. In 2005 Sheram appeared.

In 2007, she was the speaker of the Armenian delegation to the Euro Vision Song Contest and the following year she was nominated as Armenian contribution to Euro Vision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. Your title Qele Qele was selected by a nationwide choice of four songs from various composers. The text is by Sirusho itself in the competition she finished fourth after being runner-up before the final winner Russia in the semifinals. After the contest she sang together with the Euro Vision Song Contest participants Boaz Mauda (Israel) and Jelena Tomasevic (Serbia ) a song called Time to pray.

Sirushos third album was released in 2007 and was entitled Hima. It contains a title which is dedicated to the Armenian singer Warduhi Vardanyan, who was killed in a car accident, and other written and produced by Sirusho title. It is a mixture of styles soul and rhythm and blues with elements of Armenian folk music, which is characterized by typical instruments of the area, such as duduk or Dhol.
