Shirvan is a town and a Ilce (Landkreis) in Turkey. It belongs to the province of Siirt and is located in Southeastern Anatolia. Shirvan is located in the north of the province, bordering the province of Bitlis. The district has 23 868 inhabitants Shirvan, the city only 4,451 (as of 2012).

The former name of the administrative unit and the city was Küfre. This name comes from the Aramaic, meaning there "village". Today Küfre is the name of a district of Shirvan.
