Slam (band)

Slam is a producer duo in the field of techno.

They consist of the two DJs and producers Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle the former geography student.

Since 1991 Slam Soma Quality Recordings, the label run in Glasgow, where productions of artists such as Percy X, Funk D' Void, Ewan Pearson or Silicone Soul emerged. In 1994 Daft Punk Alive single on the label Soma. Soma has published more than 100 releases to date.

1993 appeared the track Positive Education, which is also in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is heard. Other well-known tracks from this year Eterna and Step Back.

Slam has already made ​​remixes for artists such as Carl Cox, Underworld or Luke Slater.

The track Life Times from 2001 was shown, among others as a music video on music channels such as VIVA.
