The Sliema Wanderers Football Club is a Maltese football club from Sliema.
History
Founded in 1909 as Sliema Wanderers FC, the club was called in 1918 for a short time Sliema Amateurs, before he assumed his old name back. The season 1919/20, brought the club a first Maltese Championship. Several championships followed, and in 1935 succeeded the first time the victory in the national cup. 1939 joined the Sliema Rangers FC at the Club. 1944 named the club for one season Sliema Athletic, since 1945, he again bears its present name.
