Slip of the Tongue is the eighth studio album by the English hard rock band Whitesnake. It was released in November 1989.

History

After guitarist Vivian Campbell left the band after the tour to the highly successful album in 1987, began with David Coverdale, Adrian Vandenberg on Lake Tahoe with the songwriting for the next album. Part of the text was completed by Coverdale on Bora Bora. However, Vandenberg injured, so that he could not play on the album.
