Smilkov

Smilkov ( German Smilkau ) is a municipality in the region Středočeský kraj, Czech Republic.

History

Already at the beginning of the 16th century was located at the site of a fortress Sádlové ze Smilkova. Later the village to the families Vejhákové Koutu z, z Těmínové Temic end of the 16th century Berkovsky ze Šebířova belonged, from 1601 to 1697 the Lords of Talmberg. 1701 bought Christoph Karl Woracziczky Pabienitz of the village, whose descendants Smilkov still belonged in the 19th century.

The municipality consists of the villages Smilkov Kouty ( rubber ), Líštěnec ( Lischtienetz ) Oldřichovec ( Ullrich reason) Plachova Lhota ( Plach Lhota ), Smilkov ( Smilkau ) and Zechov ( Sechov ).
