Snežana Pajkić

Snezana Pajkic ( serbisch-kyrill. Снежана Пајкић, born September 23, 1970 in Ćuprija ) is a former Yugoslav hurdler of Serbian nationality. At a height of 1.69 m her competition weight was 51 kg.

Even at junior level it was very successful. She won bronze in 1986 and silver at the 1988 Junior World Championships in the 1500 meter race. 1987 and 1989 she was European Junior Champion.

At the European Championships in 1990 in Split won two gold Yugoslav athletes were both only 19 years old. During the high jumper Dragutin Topić won for over a decade in international championships medals, Snezana Pajkic never again reached a place among the top eight. Their only success in the adult area remained the victory in Split. She won in 4:08,12 seconds before the Germans Ellen Kiessling and the Swiss Sandra Gasser, back were both half a second.
