Söding is a municipality with 2165 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district or district Voitsberg in Styria.
Söding is located southwest of Graz.

The municipality comprises the cadastral United Söding, Small Söding and Pichling at Moss churches.
History
" Söding " is originally derived from the male, Old High German name " Sedi ". This, and the typical Baiuvarii suffix "ing", suggest a settlement or town founded in the early Middle Ages (ca. 8th - 9th century) down by the Bavarians.
