Soile Isokoski

Soile Isokoski ( born February 14, 1957 in Posio, Finland) is a Finnish opera, recital and concert singer ( lyric soprano ).

She studied at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki and was there in 1986 her concert debut. In 1987 she was awarded the 2nd prize at the BBC Singer of the World Competition in Cardiff. In 1988, she won the 1st prize of Elly Ameling and 1990 the Tokyo - singing competition. Her operatic debut in 1987 as Mimì (La Bohème ) at the Finnish National Opera in Helsinki.
