Solukhumbu District

Solukhumbu is one of 75 districts in Nepal. It lies in the Sagarmatha Zone and consists of the regions around Mount Everest, Solu Khumbu and. At the 2001 census the district had 107,686 inhabitants; 2011, there were 105 886.
The Sagarmatha (Mount Everest ) lies to the north of the district in the Sagarmatha National Park; the park is listed as a World Heritage Site.
