Sophia of Hungary
Sophia of Hungary (* 1050, † June 18, 1095 ) was Margrave of Istria and Carniola and Duchess of Saxony.
Life
Sophia was the daughter of the Hungarian king Béla I of the House of Árpád.
Margrave Wilhelm IV of Meissen was engaged to Sophia; when he was going to get it, he died in 1062. His nephew Markgraf Ulrich I of Weimar- Istria - Krain filled in for him and married the king's daughter.
After Ulrich's death in 1070, she married Bill Unger Duke Magnus of Saxony ( † 1106).
