Sowerby Bridge
Sowerby Bridge is a small town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale the English county of West Yorkshire. According to the census Sowerby Bridge had a total of 9,948 inhabitants in 2001.
Geography
Sowerby Bridge is located about 15 km west of Bradford, 15 km north- west of Huddersfield, 25 km north east of Rochdale, 30 km east of Burnley and 40 km northeast of Manchester.

Sowerby Bridge is located on the A- road A58, about 8 miles from the M62. Here cross the Rochdale Canal and the Calder - Hebble Canal. The city is also connected to the railway network: From here trains to Halifax, Bradford and Leeds in the East as well as Burnley, Rochdale and Manchester to the west.
