Spectrum is the debut album of drummer Billy Cobham in 1973.
After three successful years as a drummer with the Mahavishnu Orchestra Cobham established with his debut album, its own style of jazz, rock and funk, and finally made him known as a solo artist. The album was recorded in the three days from 14 to 16 May 1973 in the Electric Lady Studios in New York City.

Reception
The album reached number one in the 1973 jazz album charts and number 26 in 1974 in the U.S. charts. Scott Yanow of Allmusic called the album as a " potent blend of rock rhythms and jazzy improvisations. " He gave the album four and a half out of five stars.
