Spišská Nová Ves District
The Okres Ves ( German district Zipser Neudorf ) is an administrative unit in eastern Slovakia with 95 144 inhabitants ( 2004) and an area of 587 km ².
Historically, the district is located for the most part in the former county Zips, a small part of which includes the towns Mlynky and Hnilec part of the former county Gemer and small Hont (see also List of historic counties of Hungary ).
