From these holdings and the know-how available there developed with the beginning of industrialization, many supply companies for the mining industry (eg the company host, force, Düsterloh, TURMAG and Hauhinco ). With the decline of the Ruhr coal mining in the 1970s slowly disappeared and these farms from the cityscape.
