SsangYong Actyon
SsangYong Actyon (since 2006)
The SsangYong Actyon is a sport utility vehicle or pickup of the Korean automobile manufacturer SsangYong. It replaced the previous model SsangYong Musso 2006. The Actyon comes in two versions:
- As SUV ( Actyon )
- As Pickup ( Actyon Sports)
In Ecuador, however, the Actyon is marketed as a successor to the SsangYong Korando and took over its model name. There, the Korando next to the SUV is also marketed as a pick under the name Korando Sports. In addition, the SUV in the CT -mentioned embodiment is also available as a hybrid vehicle for election.
Both models are available in various configurations, with rear - or Allradadantrieb, and on request with a VTG turbo diesel engine of the third generation common rail fuel injection or a 2.3 -liter four- cylinder petrol engine with overhead camshaft.
Compared to its predecessor the Actyon Musso has a wider track, increased load capacity and a more fuel-efficient engine.
The car also has a front suspension with double wishbone suspension and a five-link rear axle. In addition to ESP is a HDC series in some embodiments.
The diesel engine in Europe makes 104 kW (141 hp) at 4000 min -1. and has a torque of 310 Nm at 2700 min -1. For the 2.3 liter petrol engine, the corresponding values (150 hp), with 110 kW at 5500 min -1., Respectively 214 Nm at 4500 min -1.
2008 Kroymans group withdrew as an importer of the brand, so it remains unclear whether SsangYong vehicles are still available in Germany. 2010, there were in Germany still a total of 28 new registrations.
In California, the SsangYong Actyon used the Phoenix as a base for one of them developed vehicle with electric drive. The two vehicles so far developed are named Phoenix and Phoenix SUT SUV.
