The term State actors had different meanings throughout history. In Nazi Germany it was the highest title, which could be awarded to a stage actor. Since 1945, the meaning has changed. In Baden- Württemberg, for example, are no longer a title of honor, but a service name.

Period of National Socialism

In Nazi Germany, the price was the Reich Minister for Public Enlightenment and Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, presents.
