Stanislav Morozov

Stanislav Morozov (Ukrainian / Russian Станислав Морозов; born 1 February 1979 in Sverdlovsk, Soviet Union ) is a retired Ukrainian figure skaters in the pairs figure skating. He first started with Jelena Belusowskaja. From 1999 to 2002 Aliona Savchenko and Stanislav Morozov formed a skating pair. The couple was Junior World Champion in the 1999/2000 season. After the Olympic Games in 2002 the couple separated. Stanislav Morozov interrupted his skating career due to injury. From 2004, he ran with Tatiana Volosozhar. Volosozhar / Morozov were multiple national champion of Ukraine, 12, of the 2006 Winter Olympics and fourth in the world championships in 2007 and the European Championships in 2008. Their trainer was originally Galina Kuchar. After the World Championships in 2008 they changed the coach and trained with Ingo Steuer in Chemnitz in a training group with Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy. After the 2010 Winter Olympics Stanislav Morozov finished his skating career as an active athlete.
