Stanisław Krzesiński

Stanisław Blazej Krzesiński ( born February 3, 1950 in Białobrzegi, Masovian Voivodeship ) is a former Polish wrestler.

Career

Stanisław Krzesiński began as a teenager in 1965 in Radom with the rings. By 1968, he started for a wrestler Club in Radom and then joined the top Polish club GKS Katowice. He concentrated on the Greco-Roman wrestling and was trained by Michał Kosno Jan Adamaszek and Janus Tracewski. In 1971 he was Polish champion in the welterweight division for the first time. This title he won in 1973, 1974 and 1976.

In 1971 he gave his debut at an international championship and came up at the World Championships in Sofia welterweight with victories over Abdelhamid Abdeljelil from Tunisia, Sirri Acar from Turkey, Gary Neist from the United States and Eero Tapio from Finland and defeats Victor Igumenow from the Soviet Union and Boris Butrakow from Bulgaria to a good 5th place.
