Hans Jürgen Stefan Schwarz ( born April 18, 1969 in Malmö) is a former Swedish football player. The defensive player whose German father emigrated in the 1960s to Sweden, participated with the Swedish national team in two World Cups and one European Championship and was in the 1990s, a key player in the Swedish national team.

Career

Playing career

Black began as a 5-year playing football and came to many years of experience as a young kicker at Malmö FF club Kulladals 1983 as 13 - year-old in the youth squad of Malmö FF. From 1985 to 1987 he was a junior player at the German club Bayer 04 Leverkusen, with whom he 1985/86 won the A- youth championship. Then he went back to Malmö FF.

Black decided after the tournament to move to the Premier League. New employer was Arsenal who referred approximately 1.8 million pounds for the defensive player to Portugal. However, he had only one season in England and then moved on to Fiorentina. With the club, he won the Italian Cup in 1996 and after a 2-1 win over champions Inter Milan by two goals from Gabriel Batistuta, the Supercoppa Italiana.

In 1998, Black in the Primera División to FC Valencia, before he returned after a season in England. He was awarded the Guldbollen as Sweden's Footballer of the Year in 1999. Until 2003, he played for Sunderland AFC on the island, to then end his active career.

After the active time

Since his boots Black operates the player switching Stefan Schwarz Pro Sports Sweden AB in Malmö. Black now lives with his Portuguese wife and three children in Cascais, near Lisbon.

After the dismissal of Per- Ola Ljung as assistant coach at reigning triple winner Helsingborgs IF Black followed in early June 2012 as the new assistant by Conny Karlsson.
