Steinbach am drawing is a municipality in Upper Austria in the district of Kirchdorf an der Krems in Traun quarter with 828 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013). The competent court is the district of Kirchdorf an der Krems.

Geography

Steinbach am Ziehberg is located on 547 m altitude in Traun quarter, in the valley of Steinbach, which flows from east to west by the municipality and flows into Pettenbach in the pasture. The expansion is 8.7 kilometers from north to south and from west to east 6.7 km. The total area is 34.8 km ². 65.2% of the area is forested and 26.7 % of the area is used for agriculture. Katastralgemeinden are Oberdürndorf and upper Inzersdorf.

History

Originally in the eastern part of the Duchy of Bavaria lying, was the place since the 12th century the Duchy of Austria. Since 1490 he is the Principality ' Austria above the Enns ' attributed.
