Steve Preeg

Steven M. Preeg ( born December 14, 1970 in Sacramento, California ) is a VFX supervisor who for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Academy Award for Best Visual Effects was 2009.

Life

He studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from .. In the first feature film, The Lawnmower Man 2 - Beyond Cyberspace, for whom he worked in the visual effects, he worked for the company Shockwave Entertainment. This was followed by movies like Beowulf, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

In 2004, he was first employed by the visual effects company Digital Domain. For the company he worked on films such as I, Robot, Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, for which he 2009, together with Eric Barba, Burt Dalton and Craig Barron visual Oscar in the category of Best effects received.
