Steven de Jongh

Steven de Jongh ( born November 25, 1973 in Alkmaar ) is a former Dutch cyclist and sports director of a cycling team.

Career

Steven de Jongh 1996 professional TVM - Farm Frites. He went there for four years, and later at Rabobank six years before he moved to Quick · Step 2006. Among the successes of the Sprinter include stage wins in the Tour of Sweden, the Étoile de Bessèges, the Holland Tour, Tirreno- Adriatico and the Three Days of De Panne. Equally strong, the Dutchman was on cobblestones.

He won the spring classic E3 price of Harelbeke, Veenendaal - Veenendaal, Kuurne -Brussels- Kuurne and Nokere - Koerse.

In autumn 2009, de Jongh announced the end of his career known as an active professional. From then on he served until the end of 2012 as sports director of the newly founded British ProTour Team Sky. After he admitted on his website that he has taken to himself during his playing days -enhancing drugs, he left Team Sky. For the 2013 season hired de Jongh then at the Team Saxo - Tinkoff.
