Geographical location

The Taurus mountain pond is located in the southern Harz on the border of the Harz Nature Park (Saxony- Anhalt) and southern Harz ( Thuringia) between Traut stone in the north- northeast ( Saxony- Anhalt), Rothesütte in the southwest and Sophienhof in east-southeast (both in Thuringia).
