The song was released on 27 September 2011 as the lead single from the album Strange Clouds by BoB. The song was written by BoB, Lil Wayne, Dr. Luke and Cirkut and is 3:46 minutes long. The lyrics of Strange Clouds treat mostly drug and alcohol use.

Music Video

The official music video for Strange Clouds was published on 5 December 2011. It shows BoB and Lil Wayne on a grassy area and there are colored clouds from the perspective of standing and drunken drugged people shown. In part, a woman riding on a horse to see TI has a cameo.

Remixes

There are two official remixes of the song. The first celebrated on January 12, 2012 and its premiere took place Lil Wayne TI and Young Jeezy as features. A music video was released on 31 January 2012. Remix The second, in which the rapper Kid Cudi, and Tech N9ne involved, was announced on February 6, 2012 by N9ne on Twitter and confirmed on April 5, 2012 by BoB.
