Music Video

The music video was directed by Erik White, who was responsible even for the music video of " Run It! " And " Yo ( Excuse Me Miss ) ". It was inspired by the video for the single " Smooth Criminal " and "You Rock My World " by Michael Jackson. This was taken in the Los Angeles Union Station, a train station in Los Angeles.

The video begins with a scene in which Brown goes to the train station and sits down there. After making eye contact with a girl and seems to be interested in her, he falls asleep soon thereafter. At the same time he hears his song " Poppin ' " on his Walkman Bean. In his dreams the station changes in the backdrop of Harlem in the 1920s. He takes the form of a business man and the girl at the rich and snobbish woman. At the end of the dream, the two kiss almost, but Brown is woken up by Lil Wayne and so brought out of his dreamer.
