Sing Like Me is a song by the American musician Chris Brown. It was on 24 November 2009, coinciding with the second single " Crawl ", released as a promo recordings from Brown's third studio album Graffiti, which was released in December. It reached no chart position off the Hot R & B / Hip- Hop Songs of the United States.

Background

The title was written by Chris Brown, Big Makk, Keith Thomas, Lorenza "Big Lo" Lennon and Atozzio Towns, some of them also acted as producers (Big Makk, Keith Thomas, Big Lo). It was recorded at The Compound, a recording studio in Orlando, Florida. Remixed it was under the direction of Tony Maserati at The Record Plant, a studio in Los Angeles. The cover of the song is based visually on the album and corresponds to the retro style. While the background kept blue, Brown is dressed with the exception of a red cardigans entirely in black.

Composition

" Sing Like Me" is a slow jam, pop and R & B ballad. It contains 808 drum beats, also Asian influences were observed. Sarah MacRory of Billboard compared the song with R. Kelly's "Feelin 'On Yo Booty " from the year 2001. Lyrically it's in the title for failing a night Clubes with some girls, one of which Brown does not like enough to marry her. Commercial success

The song reached no chart position off the Hot R & B / Hip- Hop Songs of the United States. There it rose to number 96. In the following week, it reached rank 84 before it then fell out again from the hit list.
