Take You Down is a song by the American musician Chris Brown, which was published on 1 April 2008 as the fourth single from Brown's second studio album Exclusive. After the release, it reached number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number four the Hot R & B / Hip- Hop Songs, in Germany it has not got into the charts. At the Grammy Awards of 2009, the title was nominated in the category " Best Male R & B Vocal Performance ", the award but not received.

Background and Music Video

The title was written by Christopher Brown, Lamar Edwards, Harvey Mason, Jr., James Fauntleroy, Steve Russell and Damon Thomas, with some of them acted under the pseudonym The Underdogs as producers.

The music video was directed by Harvey White, and it was the first collaboration Browns and Whites. On 2 April 2008 it was the first time the clip, which only contains scenes from Browns The UCP Exclusive Tour.
