Background

Brown said in a 2007 interview that his second studio album was originally to be called " Graduation ". However, he changed the title to " Exclusive" when he found out that rapper Kanye West his third studio album also wanted to mention Graduation. Brown said that he had voluntarily chosen a different name, since this is " no big thing" for him. The album by Kanye West appeared on September 7, 2007.
