Strängnäs Municipality

Strängnäs is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Södermanland County and the historic province of Södermanland. The main town of the municipality is Strängnäs.

Economy

The Swedish ice cream producer Hemglass, the drug manufacturer AstraZeneca and Pfizer, as well as the central warehouse of Mekonomen igh Svanströms addition to the community and the state lottery inspection, the largest employers. In Marie Fred tourism is an important source of income, as here Gripsholm Castle, the home of the graph as well as a railway museum located.
