Stuart Cornfeld
Stuart Cornfeld (* in Tarzana, California ) is an American film producer.
Life and career
Cornfeld was born in Tarzana in the U.S. state of California, and attended in the early 1970s, the University of California at Berkeley. Together with Ben Stiller, he is a founder of the production company, Red Hour Productions. So Cornfeld produced several films with Stiller in the lead role, including Zoolander ( 2001), The Apartment Schreck (2003), Starsky & Hutch, Dodgeball (both 2004), Tropic Thunder ( 2008) and most recently The Amazing Life of Walter Mitty ( 2013).
The personality of Les Grossman, the hotheaded and vulgar Hollywood producer, played by Tom Cruise in the movie Tropic Thunder is based on Cornfeld.
Cornfeld is married to actress Johanna Went.
