Stuart Robbins

Stuart Paul Robbins ( born November 2, 1976 in Neath, Wales, † April 12, 2010 in Galway, Ireland) was a Welsh professional basketball player. During his career, he played most of the time in the German 2nd Bundesliga basketball for the Braves from Kaiserslautern and a season for Bayern Munich. After the season 2009/10 played in Ireland, died in the Welsh national team suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep at age 33.

Career

While studying in the United States, Robbins also tried in U.S. basketball college teams. He stood briefly at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia in the squad of the Hawks in the NCAA. He also played for the Warriors of the Wabash Valley Community College in Mount Carmel (Illinois ).

1999 Robbins returned back to the UK and played for the Thames Valley Tigers in the British Basketball League. In the final round of the championship runner-up last year in the semifinals was denied by the defending London Towers. The following season, 2000/ 01 Robbins played in the Belgian Bree, where he successfully participated with the local club also little on Korać Cup, when they lost all six group matches in the first group stage.
