Sulíkov

Sulíkov ( German Sulikau, formerly Sulikow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers north of Kunstat and belongs to Okres Blansko.

Geography

Sulíkov is located in the mountains of the upper Svratka, a part of the Bohemian- Moravian Highlands, in the source dump the stream Petrůvka. The village is situated on the northern edge of the Park Halasovo Kunštátsko. To the north, the Křetínka forms a deep valley where the dam Letovice was created in the Northeast. North-east rises the Brablecův Kopec (546 m ) west of the Kocholík ( 651 m) and in the northwest of Špilberk ( Spielberg, 653 m).

Neighboring towns are Křetín in the north, and Lazinov Vranová in the northeast, Vřesice in the east, Ořechov, Jasinov and Rudka the southeast, Petrov in the south, Rozseč nad Kunštátem and Louka in the southwest, Crhov in the west and Rozsíčka and Ustup in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of belonging to the reign Kunstadt village was in 1374 as Heralt of Kunštát the goods in Sulíkov, Ustup, Rudka, Petrov, Makov, Rozsíčka and shares of Zbraslavec, Touboř, Sychotín and Rozseč his wife Jitka overwrote as dowry. 1406 inherited their sons and Jiří Heralt of Kunštát possession. Sulíkov consisted in 1674 of nine houses, two of which were uninhabited. The oldest town seal dates from the year 1717. 1790 were living in the 25 houses of the village of 126 people. In 1834 the village had 142 inhabitants. Until the mid-19th century Sulíkov always remained the rule Kunstat submissive. Limonite was Kopec Northeast of the village on Brablecův in several manholes dismantled. On the hill above the village Povětrňák was a large windmill, it was canceled in 1866.

After the abolition of patrimonial Sulíkov was from 1850 onwards, together with Petrov to the municipality Rozseč in the District Commission Boskovice belonging. In 1867 the church was Sulíkov. 1957 Vřesice was incorporated. In 1890, Sulíkov of 27 houses and had 140 inhabitants. In 1900, 142 people lived in the village. The 1924 planned construction of a railway from Skalice nad Svitavou after Bystré u Poličky whose pipeline route was configured using Sulíkov failed because of the resistance of the community Rozseč that demanded a track alignment on the own municipality and the construction thus prevented entirely. With the beginning of 1961 the church was assigned to the Okres Blansko. Since 2004, the community Sulíkov leads a coat of arms and banners.

The municipality consists of the villages Sulíkov Sulíkov ( Sulikau ) and Vřesice ( Wschesitz, formerly Brzezitz ).
