Sunne, Sweden

Sunne is a locality ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County, the historical province of Värmland. He is the chief town of the same name.

The place is situated on the lake Fryken at the constriction between the lakes Mellan Fryken and Övre Fryken. The place name is based on the situation at this Sund. The associated Fryksdal is parallel to the valley of the Klar-river, west of this.

History
