Sünuhi Arsan

Sünuhi Arsan (* 1899 in Istanbul, † May 29, 1970 ) was a Turkish lawyer from 1962 to 1964, the first president of the Turkish Constitutional Court.

Career

In the years 1923/1924 Arsan completed his studies at the Law Faculty of the Darülfünun. On August 18, 1924, he became a judge at the district court in Kocaeli. On September 16, 1946, he was appointed a member and on August 2, 1950 for the Vice President of the Turkish Court of Cassation.

On June 22, 1962 Arsan was elected the first president of Turkey's Constitutional Court and held this office until July 13, 1964.
