Suzanne Flon

Suzanne Flon ( born January 28, 1918 Paris suburb of Le Kremlin- ​​Bicêtre, † 15 June 2005 in Paris) was a French stage and film actress.

Life

Flon was the daughter of a railway worker and a seamstress. She left school at 17 and worked as an interpreter for English and as a saleswoman in a department store.

For the first time she stood in 1943 at the Comédie des Champs- Élysées on a theater stage, having previously worked for several months as a private secretary of Édith Piaf. She quickly rose to become one of the most famous actresses of France.

After the war, she began her career as a film actress. For her role as Madame Claude Cordier in Autant - Lara Tu ne tueras point Flon 1961 was awarded at the International Film Festival in Venice with the Coppa Volpi for Best Actress.
