SV Buchonia Flieden

The SV Buchonia Flieden is a sports club from Flieden.

History

The club was founded in January 1912 in the inn " Zum Hasen " in Flieden. Until the late 1970s, the club played in the lower amateur classes. The first major successes arrive in 1978 with the rise in the Hessian State League (North) and 1980 by reaching the finals of the Hessen Cup. In the final book Onen subject to the RSV Würges with 0:2, but were to participate in the first main round of the DFB Cup rights. Here the team lost at home before 2000 spectators against the then second division ESV Ingolstadt 1:4.

In 1996, with the championship in the country's Northern League, the first promotion to the Oberliga Hessen, from which one however after one year had to say goodbye as Penultimate again. Since the re-emergence in the highest Hessian division in 2001, Buchonia Flieden was initially established in the big leagues. 2009 but was the renewed descent into the regional league after the club was almost failed in the relegation. 2010 again was the succinct but direct ascent and thus a return to the Football League Hesse. In the following season, the SV Buchonia Flieden reached the 13th place in the table and could thus avoid direct relegated again. The 2011/2012 season was ended as Tabellenelfter on a secure mid-table. The second team was relegated surprising as the group master league Fulda in the Association Northern League. I2013 A- Junior Champions League group Fulda have become and ascended via the play-offs against Rot - Weiß Darmstadt in Hessen League
