Svetlana Paramygina

Svetlana Wjatscheslawowna Paramygina (Russian Светлана Вячеславовна Парамыгина; born April 5, 1965 in Sverdlovsk ) is a former Belarusian biathlete.

Her international career began in biathlon 1983. During the season 1993/94 she was the overall winner in the Biathlon World Cup, a year later she was again second in the overall World Cup. At the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, she was able to win the silver medal in the sprint.

After the 2000/2001 season she stepped back from active competition.
