Svetlana Tsarukayeva

Svetlana Kaspolatowna Zarukajewa (Russian Светлана Касполатовна Царукаева, born December 25, 1987 in Ordzhonikidze, Soviet Union) is a Russian weightlifter of Ossetian origin.

Career

Svetlana Zarukajewa participated in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in part where it is excreted in the weight class up to 63 kg after three failed attempts, over 107 kg in the snatch prematurely.

At the 2006 World Championships she was in the category up to 58 kg world champion in the snatch with 108 kg, vice-world champion in the duel standings with 233 kg and won the bronze medal in pushing it with 125 kg. In the same year she was Junior World Champion at 231 kg ( 106 kg 125 kg).

At the World Championships 2007, she competed in the category up to 63 kg and was 115 kg behind the same power but lighter Chinese Liu Haixia vice world champion in the snatch and 250 kg with vice-world champion in the duel standings behind the Chinese; the case reached 135 kg in pushing meant the bronze medal behind the same power but lighter North Korean Hyon Suk Pak.

Also at the 2009 World Championships she had to leave better rankings on power equality lighter athletes. In battle she was again Vice World Champion with 246 kg after the same power 290 g lighter Kazakh Maija Mánesa.
