Svetlana Tsarukayeva

Svetlana Kaspolatowna Zarukajewa (Russian Светлана Касполатовна Царукаева, born December 25, 1987 in Ordzhonikidze, Soviet Union) is a Russian weightlifter of Ossetian origin.

Career

Svetlana Zarukajewa participated in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing in part where it is excreted in the weight class up to 63 kg after three failed attempts, over 107 kg in the snatch prematurely.

At the 2006 World Championships she was in the category up to 58 kg world champion in the snatch with 108 kg, vice-world champion in the duel standings with 233 kg and won the bronze medal in pushing it with 125 kg. In the same year she was Junior World Champion at 231 kg ( 106 kg 125 kg).

At the World Championships 2007, she competed in the category up to 63 kg and was 115 kg behind the same power but lighter Chinese Liu Haixia vice world champion in the snatch and 250 kg with vice-world champion in the duel standings behind the Chinese; the case reached 135 kg in pushing meant the bronze medal behind the same power but lighter North Korean Hyon Suk Pak.

Also at the 2009 World Championships she had to leave better rankings on power equality lighter athletes. In battle she was again Vice World Champion with 246 kg after the same power 290 g lighter Kazakh Maija Mánesa. When pushing achieved behind Maija Mánesa with 141 kg three lifters 135 kg - namely Zarukajewa except the Turk Sibel Şimşek and the Chinese Xijan Guo - so that you only 4th place was because of the higher body weight. At 111 kg, it achieved the bronze medal in the snatch.

2009 brought Zarukajewa all three bronze medals at the European Championships in the class up to 63 kg, with a duel result of 231 kg of the same power behind Norwegian Ruth Kasirye, with 103 kg in the snatch and 128 kg in the thrusting. The same result is achieved in pushing the world champion Sibel Şimşek and the Armenian Meline Dalusjan with advantage in body weight. In 2010 she was with increase to 244 kg ( = 114 kg 130 kg ) at the European Championships Second in a duel behind the same power, but 80 grams lighter Turk Sibel Şimşek and European champion in the snatch before Simsek, which reached 110 kg.
