The Swedish ice hockey team of women ( also Swedish Damkronorna ) is the national women's hockey national team of Sweden, which is hosted by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association Svenska Ishockeyförbundet. National team coach Peter Elander.

For many years the Swedish national team was behind Canada, the U.S. and Finland, the fourth-best women's team in the world. Since 2001, the team was able to steadily improve and thus gain the bronze medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics, at the World Championships for women in 2005 and 2007 and the silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.

In Sweden, there are 3425 female hockey players (as of 2011 ).
